1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] (“SnapVent”, “we”) for your use of SnapVent's mobile apps, web app, Chrome extension and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
2. The Service
SnapVent writes listings for things you want to sell from your photos, and can fill in the Facebook Marketplace listing form in your browser for you to review and publish. The Service is evolving: features may change, and we may add, change or remove them.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to use SnapVent.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
4. Your photos and listings
You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the listings created from them. You give us permission to store, process and transmit them — including to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy — only as needed to provide the Service to you.
You confirm you have the right to sell the items you list and to use the photos you upload, and that they don't show anyone else's private information without permission.
5. AI-written content
Listings are written by AI and can be wrong: a detail misread, a brand mistaken, a price that doesn't fit your market. You are responsible for reviewing every listing before you publish it, and for what you publish.
Suggested prices are estimates to help you start, not valuations or appraisals.
6. Facebook Marketplace
SnapVent is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook and Marketplace are Meta's trademarks. When you publish a listing, you do so from your own Facebook account and under Facebook's terms and Commerce Policies, which you must follow.
The extension fills the listing form and stops — it never publishes for you. Facebook can change its website at any time, which may stop the extension filling some fields until we update it.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use SnapVent to:
- list anything illegal, or anything Facebook's Commerce Policies prohibit;
- mislead buyers, or publish listings you haven't reviewed;
- automate posting, or get around SnapVent's or Facebook's limits;
- interfere with, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service's security;
- upload content that infringes someone else's rights or that you have no right to share.
We apply daily limits to keep the Service fair and reliable.
8. Fees
If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the price and what it includes before you're charged anything.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using SnapVent and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm, and will tell you unless the law or safety prevents it.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings it writes will be accurate or sell. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SnapVent isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from listings you publish or transactions with buyers. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or [amount] if you paid nothing.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing jurisdiction], and disputes will be handled by its courts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you before a significant change takes effect. Continuing to use SnapVent after that means you accept the new terms.
