Guide
Listing safely on Marketplace
Space your listings out
Facebook doesn't publish a daily limit, but new Marketplace accounts often start with a lower one that lifts over the first weeks, and a burst of listings can look like spam. If your account is new, list a few a day and build up. Your listings wait in SnapVent until you're ready.
One listing per item
The same thing posted twice, or near-identical listings, is a common reason listings are taken down. To bring an item back to the top, renew or edit the listing you have rather than posting it again.
Check before you publish
SnapVent's AI gets most things right, not everything. A wrong brand, condition or price can read as misleading, which is against Facebook's rules. Read the title, price, condition and photos, then press Publish.
Sell what Marketplace allows
Some things can't be sold on Marketplace at all, such as animals, weapons, alcohol and medicines. Listing them gets listings removed, and repeats can cost you access. The full list is in Facebook's Commerce Policies.
You publish, not a bot
SnapVent fills the form and stops: you press Publish on every listing, at your own pace. Steer clear of tools that post for you; Facebook's terms don't allow automated posting.
If a listing is rejected
Ask Facebook to review it from the notice. A first warning can sometimes be removed from Profile status in the Facebook app. It's repeated breaks that lead to limits, so fix the cause before you list again. Facebook's help
Facebook doesn't publish exact numbers and can change its rules at any time, so nobody, us included, can promise a pace that's always safe. This is our advice, not Facebook's. SnapVent isn't affiliated with Meta.
